The international guitar community of Fretmonkey and world-renowned fingerstyle guitar record label Candyrat Records have joined forces to host its 2nd monumental fingerstyle guitar community event. Funded in part by the Fingerstyle Collective International Foundation (a 501c3 charity formed to support fingerstyle guitar community events), the Fingerstyle Collective Guitar Festival celebrates all forms and genres of fingerstyle guitar. The event takes place September 10-14, 2020 at Camp Mitchell and is located on the bluffs of Petit Jean Mountain in Morrilton, Arkansas. Events include a live music festival (Friday through Sunday nights at 7PM), an international guitar competition with unprecedented prizes (at 9AM on Saturday), and beginner to advanced level instructional guitar master classes taught by event headliners and featured presentations by music industry professionals taught. All ages and levels of interests are welcome to register for all events! Come join the guitar community event you've been searching for.
The VIP Instructional Guitar Camp Experience
Want to attend the music festival, watch the international guitar competition, and attend the outstanding instructional guitar camp? We've got the perfect package for all budgets and it includes lodging and all meals! The VIP Guitar Camp Registration gives you access to the instructional guitar camp PLUS all concerts and event and access to the exclusive VIP Thursday night experience which includes a welcome wine-and-cheese reception at the Rockefeller Museum of Automobiles, and a special meet-and-greet opportunity with Luca Stricagnoli followed by a private, exclusive concert performed by Luca and other performers (Luca and guests will not be performing at any other time during the festival)! The Thursday night VIP experience ends with a camper-exclusive Open Mic Night that only takes place on this very special night! During scheduled break times throughout the weekend, VIP campers can also take part in our new (free) camper exclusive activities such as a guided hiking excursion offered through Petit Jean State Park (transportation provided), beer yoga on the bluff with our yoga teacher, or test your skills at our (infamous) camp-exclusive redneck water polo match at the Camp Mitchell pool after a day of guitar master classes. Campers can also play under the stars during the two festival camp fire jams. Or choose to simply relax and take in the beauty of majestic Petit Jean Mountain...Arkansas is called the "Natural State" for a reason.
In addition to providing instructional guitar masterclasses throughout the festival, we also are offering you a very special opportunity to sign up for CPR Entertainment's Artist Management Mastermind Workshop taught by Gina Mendello where you can learn strategies for attracting a manager, booking, marketing, and using social media to take your music to the next level. Gina has worked with artists such as Australian virtuoso guitarist Tommy Emmanuel, Canadian Nuevo Flamenco guitarist Jesse Cook, International Fingerstyle Guitar Champion and Guitarist of the Year Christie Lenée, multi award winning singer/songwriters Catherine Britt and Daniel Champagne, virtuoso guitarists Clive Carroll, Peppino D’Agostino and more.

Do you want to attend the live concert and competition events and not the instructional guitar camp? Purchase our popular 3-day concert festival pass for $95 (tent/hammock and camping packages are available as inexpensive add-on options) or our daily concert pass for $35. Setting
Camp Mitchell is located on a bluff atop Petit Jean Mountain (pronounced Petty Jeen) in central Arkansas among 600 acres of pristine forestry. The camp is situated in a rustic natural setting and next to Petit Jean State Park. Hiking trails and overlooks are plentiful. Check them out here! The retreat center features dorm-style, chalet, and bunkhouse rooms with private and shared bathroom facilities. Free wifi is available.
Transportation
Camp Mitchell is located one hour (68 miles) from the Little Rock, Arkansas airport. If traveling by car, it's an easy drive down I-40 to the Morrilton, Arkansas exit. Airport shuttle services are offered as an add-on options (see camp registration form for details).

Arrival and Departure Time (NEW)

Registered festival campers may arrive as early as noon (10:00 AM) on Thursday, September 10, 2020 and must check in at the festival registration desk upon arrival. The VIP Thursday Night Experience will begin promptly at 5 PM on Thursday. Late arrivals throughout the festival weekend are permitted.

General public ticket holders who have purchased the ‘3 Day Festival Pass + 3 Night Camping’ package may arrive as early as noon (12 PM) on Friday, September 11, 2020. All other general ticket holders will not be permitted to enter the festival grounds until 5PM on Friday, September 11th (this policy is strictly enforced).

All attendees must depart by 10:30 AM on Monday, September 14, 2020.
